Overview

Our client, a global elevator manufacturer, wanted to find a more cost-effective way to showcase their elevator cabin designs to branches worldwide. Shipping physical elevator cabins for every showroom was too expensive and impractical. To solve this, we developed a 3D-modeled, interactive VR experience that allowed potential clients to experience the elevator cabin remotely through VR headsets. This solution provided a realistic and engaging way to present the product without the high costs associated with shipping.

Our Total Solution

To address the client’s need for a more efficient and affordable presentation method, we created a fully immersive VR experience of the elevator cabin, designed to be viewed on VR headsets. This allowed showroom managers from various international locations to present the cabin design to clients without the need for physical transportation.

3D Modeling & Design

We worked closely with the client to understand the specifications and design elements of the elevator cabin. Using advanced 3D modeling techniques, we meticulously recreated the cabin in Unreal Engine, ensuring that every detail — from the finishes to the lighting — was accurately represented. This model reflected all the customizable options, such as flooring, wall panels, and button designs.

We developed a user-friendly VR interface that allowed users to step inside the virtual elevator cabin and explore it from all angles. This experience provided an interactive way for potential clients to see and feel the space as if they were physically present. They could interact with various features, such as opening and closing the doors or adjusting the cabin’s settings.
